Tree Trimming

Pruning trees should only be done when trees are creating problems.  Branches on roofs, lights, overhanging driveways, and low hanging branches are prime candidates.  Topping or pollarding a tree is damaging and sometimes fatal to trees and should only be done as a last resort.  Power companies will  "TOP" trees to get the branches below wires.  Sometimes this is the only option, but it certainly is not what should be done to every tree.  Proper pruning leaves trees looking natural.
